Chester Roberts II, better known as Samurai Cory (or simply Cory), is a rad American self-taught digital illustrator, manga artist, and character designer specializing in manga-styled characters (both male and female) wearing 1990s and Y2K ultra-baggy clothing and big sneakers. His work is heavily influenced by shonen anime and manga with eye candy, video games, and street culture. He never had any formal education in art, but was entirely self-taught since he was young, from watching anime from the mid-to-late 1990s to the Y2K era as a child to reading how-to-draw manga books since he was a teenager.

He is known to have his male protagonists in his scroll format webcomic series precocious instead of idiot heroes, often accompanied by a female protagonist who is the male protagonist's best friend (but not a love interest), and a chubby male best friend. He also created the Shibuya Brawlers webcomic series inspired by Dragon Ball, Street Fighter, Streets of Rage (Bare Knuckle), Jet Set Radio Future, and Fighting Force (Metal Fist). He is known to shun formal attire, typically wearing skater clothes such as 3XL big and tall T-shirts, ultra-baggy jeans and jorts, and Vans Knu Skool sneakers.

The samurai in Samurai Cory is not a title, but a part of his pen name. He also speaks English, Japanese, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
